EURASIAN INTEGRATION BUSINESS FORUM

EURASIAN INTEGRATION BUSINESS FORUM

On October 7, Alevtina Grigorievna Kirillova, General Director of "Eurasian Agrologistics" took part in the Eurasian Business Forum "Integration".
The forum is an international discussion platform, which brings together member countries of the EAEU, and where topical issues of economic cooperation are proposed for discussion.
The "Integration" Forum has been held since 2019 with the support of the EEC. The main objectives of the Forum are to define a strategy for the rapid development of the EAEU, as well as to find new tools and opportunities for financing sustainable growth.

At the sessions of the Forum, speakers discussed key areas of development of the EAEU, issues of development of foreign trade relations, and set the vector for further integration of market participants.
The following sections were held as part of the Forum: "Business for Sustainable Development: Green Agenda of Today (Energy Potential of the EAEU)", "Digital Transformation of the EAEU", "The Potential of the Construction Industry. Access to International Markets" and "Infrastructure Development of Eurasian Transport Corridors". One of the final meetings was the meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Eurasian Network University.

At the Round Table "Infrastructure Development of the Eurasian Transport Corridors" A.G. Kirillova presented a report on development of terminal and warehouse complexes and wholesale and distribution infrastructure on the routes of the Eurasian transport corridors.
The project aims to organize a network of ORCs as part of the development of rapid rail and multimodal transport "Eurasian Agroexpress", which is designed to ensure the regularity of mutual supplies of agricultural products and food between the EEU countries, as well as for export.

It is important to note that the Project is implemented in accordance with the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council Decree of February 25, 2022, according to which the "Eurasian Agroexpress" should ensure food security of the participating countries, facilitate the implementation of their export potential, increase loading and develop transport and logistics and commodity infrastructure of EAEC countries.

The tasks of optimizing the transport and logistics complex of the EAEU under the new conditions of variable demand for the services of transport companies are particularly acute.

The session also raised the issues of expanding the regional use of infrastructure opportunities, creating additional mechanisms to stimulate and attract freight flows.
The importance of achieving maximum transport connectivity of the territories of Greater Eurasia, including the Eurasian Economic Union, the development of multimodal transport, and sustainable mobility of the population was emphasized.
