On February 8, 2023 a joint meeting of the Public Council of the Federal Service for Transport Oversight and the Public Council of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport was held in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

Alevtina Kirillova, Chairman of the Commission on Sea and River Transport of the Public Council of Rostransnadzor, General Director of "Eurasian Agrologistics" spoke about the development of strategic partnerships and long-term cooperation in foreign trade and logistics on the routes of the transport corridor "North-South", including using the potential of the Caspian basin and inland waterways of the Russian Federation.

She noted the enormous amount of work carried out by the Public Council of Rostransnadzor jointly
with ANO "Eurasian Agrologistics" in 2022 on ensuring safe logistics by key operators of agricultural logistics, including the development of multimodal services of JSC "Russian Railways Logistics" between Russia and countries interested in cooperation on the routes of the Eurasian transport corridors, given the political and economic constraints.

For example, in 2022, maritime and multimodal transport services between Russia and Turkey in terms of exports of agro-industrial products were significantly developed.

Projects to build terminal and warehouse complexes and wholesale and distribution infrastructure on the routes of the Eurasian transport corridors entered an active stage: the design of the ORC in Kazan and Ufa began, and a regular container train on the North-South ITC was launched.
